We have recently closed the large driving range tee due to renovation. This tee received almost 28 days of use including the NCAA tournament. This tee will be closed until after June 19th. On June 19th this tee will be the foundation for the Mayors Ball that night. The renovation included aerifying small holes to provide a good place for the seed to germinate. This process was followed by slit-seeding which also provides great germination. We are trying a new bentgrass variety that will increase time of germination and fill-in. We will continue to use this same process throughout the year.
