I hope everyone enjoyed Member Guest and wanted to thanks those who participated this year. We have come to find out that no matter how much you prepare things can change very quickly. I thought that the golf course on Thursday was probably the best it has been all year. We spent countless hours preping bunkers and grooming the golf course. Even the waste bunkers looked good. Oh how things can change quickly. Thursday afternoon we recieved approx. 1.2" of rain in about 25 min. Bunkers were filled with water and edges were washed out. We started pumping bunkers that evening until midnight and started repairing edges at 3:00 in the morning. We did get all greenside bunkers back before play Friday morning and then worked fairway bunkers Friday night. Great job by my crew to get things playable for this event.
