I wanted to update everyone of the upcoming projects that will be occurring at Sagamore over the next couple of weeks. Here is a timeline of projects:
- Sept 20th- Work on #8 Tee complex
- Sept 21st- Work on #8 Tee complex and start aerification of tees ( holes #1-#9)
- Sept 22nd- Complete #8 Tee comples and aerification of tees (holes #10-#18)
- Sept 23rd- Regular mowing and seeding of #8 Tee expansion
- Sept 26th- Green and Fairway Aerification (Course Closed) & Work on #1 Tee expansion
- Sept 27th- Green and Fairway Aerification (Course Closed) & Work on #1 Tee expansion
- Sept 28th- Green and Fairway Aerification (Course Closed) & Work on #1 Tee expansion
- Sept 29th- Finish #1 Tee expansion
- Sept 30th- Regular mowing
- Oct 3rd- Begin work on #17 tee expansion
We will be enlarging 3 tee complex's this Fall. #1 tee, #8 tee, and #17 tee will be enlarged to give more tee space during the golfing season. #1 tee will also be leveled to provide a healthier tee complex for the future. These projects will continue into the Fall along with some bunker work and sodding. I hope you enjoy the modifications to the course and a great golfing season next year.
