Short game progress report

We are in the final stages of our new short game practice area. Last Friday we started the irrigation installation and we are almost complete. The rain over the weekend has slowed progress but hope to finish setting heads and start final grading. Next step will be sod and seeding of the green and fairway. We will be seeding the green in 3 different varieties to evaluate some new grasses on the market.  We will seed a-1, pure distinction, and t-1. The fairway will be seeded in crystal blue links and we will also be testing pure select. Looking forward to completion.  We are also in the process of building a new driving range tee to be used for outing play and other events.
