We are in the process of venting our greens with small holes this morning. This process help get oxygen to the root system and we have been having some serious issue with Fairy Ring on the greens. This disease producing dark green circles on the green and if serious enough could cause turf loss. These holes help get chemicals to pentrate the rings and eliminate the problem. We are also aerifying our fairway with solid tines to help with water infiltration. We are taking advantage of some cooler temperature to help carry us through the rest of the year.
